Boruto reintroduced many characters from Naruto’s story in another way, but there are some that were crucial in the time of Naruto Shippuden that haven’t yet appeared in the new generation of ninjas, and they’re what we’re going to talk about here today.
5 Naruto Characters that haven’t yet appeared in Boruto
The fourth Raikage did not appear in Boruto
Ay is the Fourth Raikage and certainly one of their strongest Kage, if not the strongest. In Naruto, he played an important role in the Fourth Great Ninja War, where he led the Allied Shinobi Forces at the front. Although Ay certainly resigned years after the war, he is still more than capable when it comes to being a ninja. And so far, he hasn’t made a single appearance in Boruto’s manga.
Omoi was a respected Jonin in the Naruto story
A Jonin from Kumogakure, Omoi is yet another character who hasn’t appeared in Boruto’s canon until now. Although his role in Naruto as Jonin was very limited, fans expected him to get a bigger one in Boruto alongside Darui. Omoi was seen on a few occasions in the anime filler, but the manga canon has yet to show him.
Choza Akimichi survived the war and has yet to appear
One of the most powerful in Leaf Village, Choza Akimichi joined the Fourth Great Ninja War and did very well against those who fought. Along with Inoichi Yamanaka and Shikaku Nara, he left his mark on history, but of the three, he was the only one who survived the war. One would expect him to be a village elder and be involved in the important decisions in Boruto, but he is nowhere to be found.
Kitsuchi was completely ignored in the canonical episodes
Kitsuchi is the son of Onoki and is an incredibly powerful ninja. As a Jonin of his village, Kitsuchi played a very important role in the Fourth Great Ninja War, where he even fought to subdue the Gedo statue at one point. After Onoki, one would have expected him to take the reins and rule the village, but he has been completely ignored in history. The anime gives fans a glimpse of Kitsuchi, but he hasn’t had any role to play yet in the manga.
Hidan is still alive in the forest of the Nara clan in the Leaf Village
Hidan was one of the strongest members of Akatsuki and played an important role in history. Despite being defeated by Shikamaru, Hidan is alive while remaining buried in Clan Nara Forest. Hidan could well have been a great antagonist in Boruto, but the writers decided not to go that route. So far, he hasn’t made any appearances on Boruto, and that’s not likely to change any time soon.
