Zealot

This Paladin builds in Diablo 2 is also known as Zealadin or Zealer. It’s a build that focuses on maximizing three main abilities. The main attack players will use is Zeal, which attacks enemies quickly. They also use the aura of Fanaticism, which increases attack speed and damage, causing the Paladin to attack quickly. This works great in multiplayer because the aura affects other players as well. The third skill (optional) is the Holy Shield for additional defence. However, this only works if the player is using a shield.

As Zealot’s build revolves around quick attacks, get equipment that grants the buff cannot be frozen it’s incredibly useful. As they experience greater difficulties, it is recommended to use the shield of the Herald of Zakaru.

When distributing stat points, players will want to put enough points into Strength and Dexterity to satisfy equipment requirements, but most of their points will be put into Vitality. This class works best when surrounded by enemies, so it’s important that players stay alive to deal damage. Most of the time, players can rely on their equipment to supply mana, so they don’t need to put points into energy.

Fist of heaven

This is a powerful Paladin build for PvP. The build revolves around using the Fist of Heaven. Lightning strikes enemy players and even creates lightning across the ground.

Players will maximize the Fist of Heaven, but will also need to put 20 points each into Holy Shock and Holy Lightning for synergy. Conviction is a good aura to manage because it lowers the enemy’s defense and resistance. This is also useful when playing PvE as players will encounter monsters immune to lightning. Any equipment that increases lightning damage or adds abilities is useful for this build.

As before, most stat points will go to Vitality, with some added to Strength and Dexterity as needed. Some players may want more Dexterity points to get the maximum block, but the Fist of Heaven build is a ranged build, so this is optional.

Hammerdin

This build uses spinning hammers to kill all enemies around the Paladin. This may be the most popular paladin build in Diablo 2: Resurrected as it is incredibly powerful. Players will put 20 points into the Blessed Hammer and its two synergies, Vigor and Blessed Aim. They will also use the aura of concentration, which increases the damage the Blessed Hammer deals. Finally, if they are using a shield, the points must be spent on the Holy Shield.

Like the other Paladin builds, players should spend points on Strength / Dexterity as needed, put the majority of stat points on Vitality and don’t spend any on Energy. Players using this build should maximize points for these auras as well as synergies. For Sacred Fire, the synergies are Fire Resistance and Salvation. For Holy Shock, Lightning Resistance and Salvation have a good synergy. Like the other builds, the Auradin should put most points into Vitality and none into Energy, filling Strength / Dexterity as needed.
