Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra: what changes with the new update?
Last week, the company began rolling out the update MIUI 12.5 for this smartphone in China. Now, days later, the company is producing another build that brings DXOMARK camera optimization.
Today, the official account Xiaomi Mobile Phone on Weibo announced that the company has released the proprietary software UI version 184.108.40.206 update. This firmware introduces 13 optimizations related to the photographic compartment.
However, the official changelog for this build (V220.127.116.11.RKACNXM) says nothing about these camera improvements. Instead, it only mentions optimizations for system performance and improvements for system security and stability.
Let’s look together at the official MIUI V18.104.22.168.RKACNXM changelog for the Mi 11 Ultra:
- Optimized system performance;
- Improved system security and stability.
Anyway, since the brand has officially made an announcement for this update, it should actually bring those 13 DXOMARK camera optimizations without specifying the details.
Also, it is worth noting that both Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Pro run a common MIUI build. Hence, this update should also be available for this device. While we don’t think these unknown camera tunings are available for the Mi 11 Pro.
Finally, at the moment, there is no official news from Xiaomi regarding the availability of this update for the global variants of the Mi 11 Ultra. The software is only available for the China variant. Will it also come to us? We’ll see. In the meantime, we invite you to stay connected with us to be always updated on the matter.
